Description
The game is played over 8 rounds across 2 sessions, alternating between Mining Ore Contests and Drift Ore Contests.
In the Mining Ore Contests, players compete to win tricks under the must-follow rule to acquire randomly revealed ores.
After each trick, a drift ore is placed on the island that matches the color of the card used to win the trick. During the Drift Ore Contests, players compete under the may-follow rule to collect the ores accumulated on the islands, earning collection bonuses.
The keys to the game are the ore holding limit and the determination of the trump card.
Mining ores can yield high points, but players are limited to holding only 3 ores. If more are acquired, previously held ores are pushed out and drift away to the islands. This can cause valuable ores to be lost, resulting in a disadvantage.
Drift ores can earn bonus points by combining ores of the same color or all four different colors.
By carefully observing other players’ collection status, you can aim for high scores.
However, if your drift ores overflow, they will result in negative points. Winning mini-games does not always guarantee an advantage.
The trump card is determined by the lowest-numbered card used in the 4th round Drift Ore Contest, with the card’s number and color becoming the trump. By controlling the trump card, you can gain a strategic advantage in the game.
Additionally, there are many creative ways to use black suits and other elements of the game.
